Remembering Your Wedding With Custom Picture Frames

Home & Garden Blog

You hired a photographer for your wedding, and you got some amazing pictures from your special day. Now you need creative ways to display some of those beautiful images. Custom picture framing gives you lots of unique options for capturing the excitement of your wedding. Here are just a few ideas you can use to display your wedding day photos.

Wedding Reception Shadow Box

You can use some of your keepsakes from the reception to create a shadow box for your pictures. Have your picture framing company place one or both of your champagne flutes in the box along with an image of you and your spouse toasting your wedding. You can also include the cake serving set in a shadow box with a picture of the bride and groom cutting the cake. Get creative with the items you kept from your wedding, and pair them with images of you and your spouse using them at the reception.

Bridal Veil Backdrop

For a beautiful way to showcase a picture of you and your spouse exchanging vows, use your bridal veil as a backdrop. Your framing specialist can place the veil behind the image and matting to create a stunning presentation. You can also use a bridal shawl for this idea if you had one at the wedding, or you can add the groom's tuxedo shirt if you kept it.

Wedding Collages

Chances are, you still have some of your RSVP, wedding cards or other paper goods from the big day. Consider creating a large collage display that uses both your wedding pictures and the cards. Place greeting cards next to pictures of you and your spouse with the people who gave the cards to you, or you can simply use the RSVP cards and pictures of your guests to create a collage of all the people who attended the event. You might even want to do this with family photos as a gift for your parents or your in-laws.

Invitation Shadow Box

Creating a shadow box with a single invitation, RSVP card and program from your wedding is a nice way to create a time capsule from your day. Use cards that were not sent to anyone, and add ribbon in your wedding colors to accent the edges of the box. An image of you and your spouse leaving the wedding venue adds a perfect finishing touch to this option.

You don't have to settle for regular frames for your wedding pictures. Work with a custom framing shop to create one-of-a-kind frames to showcase your special memories.
